During the period of 1819, a trading post was founded at Singapore (Lambert, â€Å"A Brief History of Malaysia†). From the episode of the colonization of the Cape, the British government gained a lot. They focused upon the policy of the labor market. They utilized mass force of Cape for the purpose of the labor source for the British government. The colonial rule of the UK over the Cape in South Africa was strong and they colonized Cape due to certain reasons. The reasons were to secure the routes of their trade secrets, acquire huge labor and maintain the political power over most parts in the world.
